Hello there!
I used this portfolio to apply to the winter semester of 2024/2025 in Hochschule RheinMain, Hochschule Mainz and Fachhochschule Dortmund and the portfolio was approved by all of them.
It took me three tries (in different unis and different semesters) to get there tho, so I spent more than one year doing these and many others artworks that didn’t make it to the final version, but most of the ones shown here were created in the last two months before it was due.
I didn’t make any Mappenkurs but I went many times to the Mappenberatung in HSRM.
The theme of the winter semester for HSRM was Rhythm, but I also developed works around the theme “bottled feelings”. I tried exploring a variety of areas - character design, design of posters, typography, product design and illustration - but I decided to use illustration the most since it’s the type of art I’m more used to create.
