i want to study design but all I know is that I don't want to study product design. I can't choose a certain subject. I also don't really understand what do the universities expect for the "mappe". do I need to have a course to prepare it.

if you have never seen such a "mappe" you can find succesful ones on this site.
some courses may be helpful but generally i would say most of them are unnecessary and rather an obstacle because you may be pressed in a scheme that can be too obvious and is often disliked by professors. if you like to join such courses try to find some that teach you teach yourself and find your individual talents.
it is always helpful to get some information from each university you're interested in. if you ask for requirements and emphasis of each individual school it can help to create the right mappe for each.

Also it will help to learn german if you like to study in germany - so start and try!
Most germans will understand your broken-german.
Just mention in your signatur that you still learning german - and ask if you have questions.

I habe noch eine Frage. Soll meine mappe eine besstimmte Thema haben, oder nicht. Und wenn ich eine Thema finde was ist besser, complitiziert oder einfach. I sehe ,dass die Leute oft haben viele Themen und sie sind infach s.b. ein Tier.
I weiss, dass über diese Fragen es schon gesprochen ist, aber mein Deutsch ist nicht genug um die Antworten zu verstehen.
